TelePole WR Firmware Enhancement

We have been testing a new enhancement to the TelePole WR to change the LOW range to HIGH range detector at ~2,500 mR/h and HIGH range to LOW range detector at ~2000 mR/h. As you currently know the device will switch from LOW Range to HIGH range detector at 800 mR/h and LOW to HIGH at 600 mR/h. Two NPP sites are currently testing this feature.

We believe this will help the users’ confidence level with the device if the instrument is used for posting high radiation areas.

Note: The F2 calibration factor will now be between 800 mR/h to 1500 mR/h.

WRM2 iMUX Pre-Dive Troubleshooting

Hints for a successful dive:

Pre-Dive Setup with Equipment
WRM2 Dive Repeater or
WRM2 Base Station
iMUX with 8 dosimeters
WinWRM2 Software or other
Underwater Antenna

Verify that the iMUX is communicating to the base or dive repeater.
Turn ON the Base and Repeater
RXD-1 Should be flashing; if these are the only devices transmitting
Telemetry software should be receiving all eight device data packets

If RXD-1 is not Flashing and no lights on iMUX Flashing or only a few lights flashing on the iMUX:
Is the dosimeter turned ON?
Is the dosimeter plug in to the iMUX with the correct adapter?
Is the unit charged or will not charge?
Replace with 'AA'
Alkaline or NiMH batteries
Is the ‘tele-transmission’ baud Rate of the DMC 2000 set for 4800 bps and turned ON (DOSIMASS)?

All connected dosimeters channels are flashing RED and Green Transmission Output but no blinking light on the RXD-1 at the base or no blinking lights on TXD-2 and RXD-1 on the dive repeater:

Is the Repeater powered and turned ON?
Is the Base powered and turned ON?
Verify radio Firmware, newest release is '5111 version' - Contact MGPI for further assistance

Not receiving data packets in the Telemetry Software:
Is the base powered ON?
Is the RS-232 cable plug into the correct Communication Port?
Is the selector knob on the Base switched one or two?
Is the IP address set correctly on the Base?
Is the IP address set correctly on the telemetry software?
Is the network port address set to 4001 in the telemetry software?
Can you TELNET into the base from your network to see incoming ASCII data?
